plus brand identity
A complete logo system for dot+ — meeting intelligence for professionals. Three marks, one rule: a solid disc represents the "dot." This document tells you exactly how to use each piece.
The dot. Solid disc in the lower-left of a rounded square. The most distinctive silhouette in any app-icon grid. Survives 16pt.
.plus. Inter Black with the leading dot as a separate disc — never a typed period. Pronounceable as "dot plus".
d⁺. Lowercase d with the + as superscript and a dot detail near the ascender. For tight spaces where a letterform reads better.
Wherever you see a perfect solid circle in our brand, it represents the "dot." Never replace it with a hollow ring, a pixel, a star, or any other mark. The disc is the connective tissue of the system.
Black on white, white on black. Color variants exist for state semantics (positive / info) but the default is always monochrome. If a designer reaches for color without a reason, they're solving the wrong problem.
The wordmark uses Inter Black but the leading dot is not a period — it's a separately-positioned disc that aligns to the x-height. This distinction is what makes the wordmark ownable instead of typed.
No gradients. No drop shadows. No outline strokes. No 3D. No glow. No animation that isn't functional. The brand reflects the product: dense, deliberate, no decoration.

Use the disc as designed — bottom-left, 0.32× the canvas, on a clean surface.
Centering kills the "period" reference. It also makes the icon look like every other app.
The disc must always be solid. An outline reads as "ring," which is a different mark entirely.
No gradients, no glow, no glass effects. Monochrome surfaces or a single semantic color — that's the entire palette.
A typed period (.) is too small and not on the x-height baseline. The leading dot must be a separately-positioned disc.
The wordmark only works at Inter Black (900). Lighter weights lose the punch and read as body text.
Frame 1 (0ms): Icon canvas at 85% scale, disc invisible (translated left, scale 0).
Frame 2 (240ms): Canvas scales to 100%. Disc translates in from the left and overshoots to 115%.
Frame 3 (560ms): Disc settles at 100%. Period reference complete.
Frame 4 (600ms): Wordmark fades up.
Frame 5 (900ms): Tagline fades up.
